Old, lovingly restored mill in the green softly hillside of Lucca (450 m above sea level) that has been divided into tree independent apts, one of those still inhabited by the house owner himself. Very nice view over the plain of Lucca and the surrounding hills. Ideal spot for walking and hiking . Numerous restaurants and trattorias invites to make a break and taste the typical Tuscany food. Swimming pool (m 5,50 x 12, deep 150 cm, open 01.05-30.09) w/ deckchairs shared by all apts. of the house and in addition with clients of house IL FRANTOIO (max. 2 people). Each apt. has its own external space with table and chairs. App. 200 m from the house away there is the farm of the house owner, where he still today produces olive oil and wine and where it is possible upon request and against payment to organize a tasting of both. A typical dinner with the simple but very tastefully food of the lucchesia area with its own vine and oil, is organized once per week in the period from 01.06 to 07.09. Mountain bikes available upon agreement free of charge.
